(1) Subject to subsection (2), a member shall serve on the Commission for the period specified in his or her instrument of appointment.
(2) A member, other than the Chairperson, may at any time resign by giving notice of the resignation in writing to the Chairperson who shall forward the notice to the Minister and the Chairperson may resign by giving notice in writing to the Minister.
(3) A resignation made under subsection (2) shall be effective upon receipt of notice by the Minister.
(4) If a vacancy occurs among the members of the Commission, it shall be filled by the appointment of another member and in making the appointment the Minister shall have reference to section 69.
