(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), an employer shall not require any employee to work for more than 40 hours during any week, excluding overtime.
(2) Subsection (1) shall not apply to a managerial employee.
(3) Notwithstanding subsection (1), an employee who works in the hospitality industry may be required to work more than 40 hours a week provided that the employee shall not work for more than 80 hours during a 2 week period, excluding overtime.
