(1) A person shall not refuse to obey a summons by the Labour Commissioner for the purposes of facilitating an investigation of any complaint, matter or query, or the resolution of any trade dispute under this Act.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months.
