(1) Subject to subsection (2), the occupier of every industrial establishment shall provide and maintain for men and women employees separately, adequate, clean and easily accessible sanitation and washing facilities and such other provisions as are prescribed.
(2) Where there are 20 or more persons employed in an industrial establishment, the employer or other person in control of the industrial establishment shall provide and maintain separate sanitation and washing facilities for men and women in accordance with subsection (1).
