(1) An employer shall pay or cause to be paid wages to the employees employed by him or her at regular intervals, on the agreed pay day, which may be daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
(2) Pay periods may be fixed by contracts, collective agreements, arbitration awards, the Minimum and Equal Wage Commission or the Labour Commissioner.
