Every employee has the right to—
(a) take part in the formation of any trade union;
(b) be or not to be a member of any trade union;
(c) take part in lawful trade union activities;
(d) hold office in any trade union or federation of trade unions;
(e) take part in the election of shop stewards;
(f) be elected a shop steward or be a candidate for such election;
(g) act in the capacity of a shop steward; and
(h) exercise any right conferred or recognized by this Act or any law in force and assist any employee, shop steward, safety and health representative or trade union in the exercise of such rights.
