(1) Subject to subsection (2), a contract of employment valid and in force on the date of commencement of this Act shall continue to be in force after the date of commencement of this Act.
(2) A contract of employment referred to in subsection (1), shall, to the extent that it is not in conflict with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to be made under this Act and the parties thereto shall be subject to and entitled to the benefit of the provisions of this Act.
