Where an employee is engaged in an occupation in which it is customary to employ persons only at certain seasons of the year and such an employee is employed for successive seasons, the employee shall be deemed to have been continuously employed for the aggregate of all the time he or she has actually performed work for the same employer for continuous seasons.
