An action or other proceeding for damages or prohibition shall not be instituted with respect to any act done in good faith in the execution of a person's duties under this Part or in the exercise of a person's powers under this Part or for any alleged neglect or default in the execution or performance in good faith of the person's duties or powers if the person is—
(a) an authorized officer, a medical inspector, a technical examiner;
(b) an advisor for the Department of Labour;
(c) a safety and health representative or a committee member;
(d) an employee selected by a trade union or trade unions or by other employees to represent them.
