422.   Obstruction of labour commissioner's hearing

  1.  

    (1)   A person shall not refuse to obey a summons of or a request for documents made by the Labour Commissioner for the purposes of conducting a hearing and determining an individual dispute under this Part, or otherwise obstruct the Labour Commissioner in the execution of his or her duties.

    (2)   A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.
