The Attorney General’s Chambers is a standalone division and does not fall under any Ministry. It comprises of three units; the Registry of Companies and Intellectual Properties, the Legislative Drafting Unit and Advice and Litigation. All three departments are overseen administratively by the Permanent Secretary and operates under the direction of the Attorney General.
The Registry of Companies is committed to performing its duties to the public with excellence and continues to explore innovative methods in achieving its mandate which includes the registering of companies, business names and partnerships, the administration of trademarks, patents and copyright.
