252.   Concealing or falsifying affairs of company or trust

  1.  

    (1)   A person who, with intent to defraud, conceals, forges, alters or falsifies any account or document which relates to the affairs of any company or trust, or which he or she is under any duty to make, keep, or deal with, as the clerk or employee of any person, is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 5 years.

    (2)   Nothing in this section relieves a person of any liability to greater or other punishment under any other provision of this Code or any other enactment, but a person shall not be punished twice for the same offence.
