790. Proceedings on arrest
Where a person is arrested upon a warrant, he or she shall be brought as soon as may be practicable before a court, and the court shall either proceed with the initial hearing or postpone such initial hearing to a future time, in which latter case he or she shall either commit the accused person to a correctional facility, or admit him or her to bail, or permit him or her to be at large on his or her own recognizance, in accordance with the provisions of this Code relating to bail.
