A person who acknowledges or consents to—
(a) the judgment or confession of a cause of action;
(b) any deed to be enrolled;
(c) any recognizance or bail, whether or not it is filed,
in the name of another person without the consent of that other person, is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 4 years.
