9. Noting of previous entry
The registrar having the custody of the register in which the birth was previously registered shall, when so directed by the Registrar of Civil Status, write in the margin of the previous entry of the birth the words “Re-registered under section 41A of the Civil Code of Saint Lucia, on ...........”, inserting the date of re-registration, and shall forthwith make a certified copy of the previous entry, including a copy of the marginal note, and deliver the copy to the Registrar of Civil Status.
