6.   Making of an entry in pursuance of declaration

  1.  

    (1)   On receiving the written authority of the Registrar of Civil Status to re-register a birth and the declaration made for the purposes thereof, the registrar for the district in which is situated the place where the birth occurred shall enter in the register the particulars to be entered in the register and the name of the parent by whom the declaration was made followed by the word “father” or “mother”, as the case may be, followed by the residence of the parent as stated in the declaration; and he shall then enter the words “by declaration dated”, and the date on which the declaration was made and signed.

    (2)   After entering the particulars aforesaid the registrar shall complete the entry in the register in the manner provided in paragraphs (6) and (7) of regulation 4 of these regulations.
