MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

    279.   A minor who is or has been married may grant leases for terms not exceeding 9 years; he or she may receive his or her revenues, give receipts therefor, and perform all acts of mere administration. He or she is not relievable from these acts, except in cases where persons of age would be so. (Amended by Act 34 of 1956)

    283.   A minor engaged in trade is reputed of full age for all acts relating to such trade.
