(1) The Governor General may make regulations for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of the power conferred by subsection (1) regulations made under this section may be made with respect to the following matters namely—
(a) the conditions of service of members of the Fire Service;
(b) the enlistment in and training of members of the Fire Service;
(c) the proficiency test to be taken by members before re-enlistment;
(d) the maintenance of discipline of the Fire Service including the suspension from duty and determination of charges or complaints against subordinate offences;
(e) appeals against dismissal or disciplinary action including dismissal on disciplinary grounds against subordinate officers;
(f) for prescribing the procedure for the recovery of penalties from a member of the Fire Service;
(g) for regulating the granting of leave;
(h) prescribing anything which by this Act is to be or may be prescribed;
(i) generally for the good order and government of the Fire Service.
(2) Regulations made under this section shall be subject to a negative resolution.
