48.   Other Offences

A person commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $150 or to imprisonment for a term of 3 months who—

  1.  

    (a)     wilfully removes or assists or is concerned in removing any chain, rope or other barrier placed in or upon or across any street under the authority of this Act;

  1.  

    (b)     obstructs any fire hydrant by placing or causing to be placed thereon or thereby any matter or thing whatsoever;

  1.  

    (c)     wilfully damages or injures any vehicle, engine, house, hydrant or other apparatus of the Fire Service;

  1.  

    (d)     unless authorised by an officer of the Fire Service or Police removes or be concerned in removing any furniture or goods from any building on fire or in danger of fire; or

  1.  

    (e)     removes, damages or injures any mark placed for the purpose of indicating the location of any fire hydrant.
