46. Personation of member of the FIRE Service

A person not being a member of the Fire Service is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $150 or to imprisonment for a term of 3 months who—

(a) puts on or assumes, either in whole or in part, the dress, name designation, or description of a member of the Fire Service or any dress, name or designation, resembling and intended to resemble the dress, name or designation of a member of the Fire Service; or

(b) in any way pretends to be a member of the Fire Service for the purpose of obtaining admission into any house or other place or for the purpose of doing an act that he or she would not by law be entitled to do of his or her own authority,

is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $150 or to imprisonment for a term of 3 months.
