(1) It is not lawful for a member of the Fire Service to be or become a member of any unauthorised association.
(2) Any member of the Fire Service who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) is liable to be dismissed from the Fire Service and to forfeit all rights to any pension, gratuity or other allowance.
