21.   Interdiction Proceedings

When a report or allegation of misconduct is made in which it appears that the station officer, subordinate officer or fire fighter may have committed an offence in respect of which disciplinary proceedings under these Regulations may be taken, all of the provisions of the Police Act and the regulations made thereunder providing for the investigation, hearing, determination, appeal from, the variation of punishment, dismissal or reduction in rate or the determination of any such charge or complaint in respect of such proceedings shall apply to these Regulations as if a reference to an inspector, subordinate officer, Commissioner of Police, a senior deputy superintendent or deputy superintendent or a gazetted officer contained in that Act and those regulations they were substituted as the case may be a reference to a station officer, a subordinate officer, fire fighter, Chief Fire Officer and a gazetted officer within the meaning of the Act and all such provisions contained in that Act and these Regulations shall be applied with such other modifications and adaptations as may be necessary to give effect to the provisions contained in this part of these Regulations.
