(1) A member of the Fire Service is not liable for any damage caused by any act done by him or her whilst he or she is in good faith exercising any of the powers conferred by this Act.
(2) For the purposes of policies of insurance against fire, damage occasioned by the Fire Service in the execution of its duties under this Act shall be deemed to be damage by fire.
