(1) A senior officer on duty at a Fire Station shall have the power to grant liberty leave of not more than 6 hours duration during his or her tour of duty to any member of the Fire Service below his or her rank where such member is not required to stand as a reserve at the Fire Station.
(2) A member of the Fire Service mentioned in subregulation (1) who has been granted liberty leave shall before leaving the Fire Station inform the officer on duty of his or her whereabouts and where he or she can be found if required.
