(1) The Registrar may furnish a person with a certificate stating that—
(a) a document required to be sent to the Registrar has or has not been received by him or her;
(b) a name, whether that of a society or not, was or was not on the register;
(c) a name, whether that of a society or not, was or was not on the register on a stated date.
(2) When this Act requires or authorises the Registrar to issue a certificate or to certify any fact, the Registrar or other person delegated by him or her shall sign the certificate or the certification.
(3) The signature required under subsection (2) may be printed or mechanically reproduced on the certificate or certification.
(4) A certificate or certification mentioned in subsection (2) is admissible in evidence as conclusive proof of the facts stated in the certificate or certification without proof to the office or signature of the person purporting to have signed the certificate or certification.
