207.   Right to possession terminated

  1.  

    (1)   Where a person's membership in a housing society is terminated, any right of that person to possess or to occupy residential premises acquired by virtue of membership in the society is terminated.

    (2)   Where a person's membership in a housing society is terminated and the member does not give up possession of the housing unit he or she occupies, the housing society may apply to the Court to recover possession or to recover any arrears of housing charges.
