(1) A person shall not exercise the rights of membership of a society unless and until he or she has paid the prescribed membership fee and has satisfied any other requirement which may be prescribed by the by-laws.
(2) A registered society shall keep a register of members in which shall be recorded—
(a) the names and addresses of members; and
(b) the date on which each member became a member and the date, if any, on which he or she ceased to be a member.
