21.   Restriction on use of titles relating to exchanges, markets, etc.

  1.  

    (1)   A person other than the holder of a securities exchange licence shall not take or use the title or description “stock exchange”, “stock market”, “securities exchange” or “securities market” or anything which so closely resembles any of them as to be calculated to deceive.

    (2)   Subsection (1) shall not prevent a person from using any of the restricted terms in connection with an application, including application for the formation of a company, to the Commission for a licence.

    (3)   A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence.
