(1) A representative is accredited to a broker dealer, limited service broker or investment adviser for the purposes of this Part only if—
(a) the licence of the representative states that he is accredited to the licensee; and
(b) the representative is recorded as being accredited in the register maintained under section 68.
(2) The Commission shall not issue a representative licence unless both the representative and the licensee have notified the Commission in writing that he or she is, or is to be, accredited.
(3) If a licensee or representative notifies the Commission in writing that the accreditation of the representative has been terminated—
(a) the Commission may amend the register of licensees accordingly; and
(b) the representative shall return his or her licence to the Commission within 7 days of the Commission requiring him or her to do so.
