174. Failure to file report or to pay property
Any licensed financial institution or licensed financial holding company which wilfully —
-
(a) fails to file the report or to pay property presumed to be abandoned into the custody of the Central Bank in accordance with sections 168(1) and (4); or
-
(b) fails to file the report or to deliver the property presumed to be abandoned into the custody of the Minister in accordance with section 170(2),
is liable to a penalty of $5,000 and for a further penalty of $1,000 for each day of the default.
