(1) Where a demolition order has become operative, no land to which the order applies shall be used for building purposes, or otherwise developed, except subject to such restrictions and conditions as the Corporation may impose.
(2) An owner who is aggrieved by a restriction or condition imposed on the use of the land or by a subsequent refusal by the Corporation to cancel or modify such restriction or condition may appeal by notice in writing to a judge in chambers who shall determine the matter and make such order as he or she thinks fit, and the judge's decision shall be final.
(3) A person who commences or causes the commencement of any work in contravention of a restriction or condition imposed under subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of $100 for each day that the work continues to exist.
(4) A person convicted under subsection (3) is liable to pay any costs incurred in the demolition of the work in contravention of the restriction or condition imposed.
