SMALL COMMERCIAL VESSELS

476A. Interpretation: Part 19A

(1) In this Part—
“Administration” has the meaning assigned in the Code;
“Code” means the Code of Safety for Small Commercial Vessels prepared by the International Maritime Organization for Caribbean Countries, set out in Schedule 2;
“owner” means the person who owns the small commercial vessel.

(2) Where a vessel is managed by a person other than the owner, whether on behalf of the owner or some other person, or on his or her own behalf, a reference in this Act to the owner is to be construed as including a reference to that person.
