(1) A driver of a motor vehicle or a pedestrian shall not —
(a) disobey the directions of a traffic officer;
(b) disobey a traffic control device, except on the direction of a traffic officer in accordance with this Act.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to both. (Substituted by Act 10 of 2006)
(3) Subsection (1)(b) does not apply to traffic devices used to regulate parking in a regulated parking area.
