(1) All subordinate legislation made under the repealed Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act, 1994 in force immediately before the coming into force of this Act, so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continues in force as if made under this Act until revoked under this Act.
(2) Licences and permits issued under the repealed Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act, 1994 and subsisting immediately before the coming into force of this Act, so far as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continue in force as if issued under this Act until such time as they expire or fall due for renewal.
