The licensee of any licensed house or any servant of or person authorised by such licensee or any police officer or any constable or other peace officer may retake any patient who is escaping from such licensed house and may within 30 days retake any patient who has escaped from such licensed house and may return to such licensed house any patient so retaken where he or she shall revert to his or her former custody.
