(1) A person who is served with an order shall deliver the total amount set out in the order to the Accountant General, within the time specified in the order and shall be entitled to have endorsed on the order the details of payment.
(2) Payment of the total amount within the time specified shall constitute the satisfactory disposition of the matter and shall operate in like manner as an absolute discharge.
