(1) Where it appears to the Director that goods of a particular kind will or may cause injury, loss or damage to any person, the Director may, by Notice published in the Gazette and at least 2 newspapers in circulation or any other media in Saint Lucia, declare the goods to be unsafe goods.
(2) A Notice under subsection (1) remains in force until the end of 18 months after the date of publication of the Notice, unless it is revoked before the end of that period.
