122. Renegotiation of terms

(1) A person who has custody or control of goods shall not use such custody or control to induce the consumer into renegotiating the terms of a consumer agreement.

(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $3,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 1 year or to both.
