(1) When a person, at whose instance a licence to operate has been issued ceases to operate or use the building to which the registration relates as an apartment house, guest house or hotel, he or she shall within 7 days of so doing give notice to the Board through the office of the Chief medical officer of health and deliver up to him or her the licence to operate. (2) Whenever a licence to operate has been cancelled or suspended the person to whom the same was issued shall immediately deliver up the licence to operate to the Chief Medical Officer of health. (Amended by S.I. 35/2020)
(3) The appropriate entry in respect of non-use, cancellation or suspension in respect of guest house shall be made in the register.
