Where a person is issued with a prescribed penalty notice pursuant to section 51 and fails to pay the amount specified in the prescribed penalty notice in accordance with the requirements set out therein, the person liable to pay the prescribed pecuniary penalty shall attend the Magistrate's Court on the date specified in the prescribed penalty notice for summary trail.
