(1) A person shall not cause damage to a motor vehicle or trailer or injury to any of its passengers by —
(a) throwing an object at the motor vehicle or trailer; or
(b) placing an object in the road.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or both. (Substituted by Act 10 of 2006)
