55. Police assistance

(1) The Director, Deputy Director, an inspector or other person authorised by the Director may request the assistance of a police officer in uniform in the enforcement of the provisions of this Act.

(2) A police officer who is requested to give assistance under subsection (1) shall give such assistance.
