18. Prohibition on sale and use of weights, measures and measuring instruments

(1) A person shall not sell or expose for sale any weight or measure or weighing or measuring instrument which has not been verified and stamped by an inspector with the prescribed mark of verification.

(2) A person shall not use a weight, measure or weighing or measuring instrument which has not been verified and stamped by an inspector with the prescribed mark of verification, for purposes of trade.
