Any person who is an importer or a packer of pre-packaged goods—
(a) who imports or packs pre-packaged goods in contravention of the requirements of section 26(2);
(b) fails to mark in authorised units on any pre-package the number, net weight or measure it contains; or
(c) fails to indicate the name and address of the manufacturer, or the importer or a mark enabling identification of such name and address,
commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term of 6 months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
