37.   Sign Boards to be kept by licensed dealers

  1.  

    (1)   Every licensed dealer shall cause to be printed in letters at least 3 inches in length and one inch in width, in white upon a black ground or in black upon a white ground publicly visible and legible upon a board placed over the entrance door of his or her licensed premises, his or her name or trade name together with the words “Licensed to deal in licensable produce”.

    (2)   Every such dealer shall preserve and keep up such name or trade name and words painted visible and legible during all the time that he or she continues licensed.

    (3)   Any person contravening the provisions of this section, and any person who puts or has any such letters as aforesaid upon his or her premises falsely importing that he or she is a licensed dealer, commits an offence against this Act.
