A midwife whose registration has been suspended or cancelled shall within 14 days of being so notified in writing by the Treasurer/Secretary of the Council surrender her licence to the said Treasurer/Secretary, and if she fails to do so shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $25 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month.
