7.   Staff and expenses

    (1)   The Council may, with the previous sanction of the Minister employ, at such salaries or remuneration as the Council may determine, a Treasurer/Secretary and such other staff as it considers necessary for carrying out its functions under this Act.

    (2)   Any expenses incurred by the Council in carrying this Act into effect, including expenses in connection with examinations under this Act and the travelling expenses of and sums paid as subsistence allowance to members of the Council shall be defrayed out of the sums received by the Council under this Act.

    (3)   The accounts of the Council shall be audited to 31 December of each year, not later than 21 March in the next ensuing year by such person, as the Council may, subject to the approval of the Minister, appoint, and copies of the accounts and of any report made on the accounts shall be transmitted to all the members of the Council and to the Minister and shall be laid on the table of the House of Assembly.
