(1) The Chief Medical Officer is the chairperson of the Council.
(2) The Council shall elect from among its members a Treasurer/Secretary.
(3) The chairperson shall preside over meetings of the Council; if the chairperson is not present at any meeting, the members present shall elect one of their number to preside over that meeting.
(4) The chairperson or other person presiding at any meeting shall have an original vote, and in the event of any equality of votes, a casting vote as well.
(5) The seal of the Council shall be authenticated by the signature of the chairperson and of the Treasurer/Secretary and any document purporting to be sealed with the said seal so authenticated shall be receivable in evidence of the particulars stated in that document.
