(1) The Council shall, on entering the name of any person on the Register of Nurses, issue to such person a certificate of registration and such certificate shall remain in force unless suspended or cancelled.
(2) If any such person fails to pay any annual registration fee which may be payable for 3 months after it becomes due, his or her certificate of registration is considered to be suspended; but it is lawful for the Council to restore the validity of the certificate upon payment of the registration fee and such further sum by way of fine as may be prescribed.
