(1) The Council shall keep for the purposes of this Part of this Act a register, to be known as the Register of Nurses, on which it shall cause to be entered the names of all persons who are entitled to be registered as nurses in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
(2) The entry on the Register of Nurses shall show the date of the registration and the qualification upon which the registration is based.
(3) The Register of Nurses may be divided or classified, according to the manner which the Council considers most appropriate, into male and female nurses, and into nurses qualified for general nursing or for such special classes or branches of nursing as the Council may specify.
